Wild Edibles

Congratulations! You have found my wild edible haven. I understand that not everyone can afford traveling to Oregon to come on a hike with me. However, this does not change my desire to educate people about proper foraging and the benefits of eating wild foods. This page is and will forever be a free resource for those who want to know about wild edibles.

This year I will be expanding this section of my website to include not only more photos of wild plants, but also short educational videos about foraging, and articles. These videos will cover how to properly harvest wild foods, their nutritional content, and how to prepare and eat wild plants. The articles will review everything from ethical harvesting to safety. Please check back in mid-May for the first video.

Note: I am not a doctor, therefore I do not give any sort of medical advice! I simply share my own experiences and write about what has and has not worked for me. Please take caution when harvesting wild plants, as mis-identification can be potential hazardous to your health! I do not recommend eating any wild plants unless you are 100 percent sure what it is! Furthermore, I do not take any responsibility for any behaviors that lead to ill health or death!
