Extended Trips

For the 2008 season I offer three extended hikes to choose from! If you are interested in learning about wild edibles and solidifying this knowledge in your mind, you have come to the right place! During an extended hike, we will be supplementing out delicious raw meals with foraged food. This means that you will have plenty of practice in identifying and harvesting forest yummies. We will also have many opportunities for swimming, playing games, relaxing, sightseeing, and meeting other like-minded friends.

Note: because an extended hike requires hiking sufficient distances (up to 10 miles per day) I do not allow children under the age of 16. I love kids, but I have to be considerate of other clients! If you have children please come on a day hike with me!

Both of the Upper Rogue River Trail hikes are a great choice for beginner hikers. The Sky Lakes Wilderness is more appropriate for a beginner-intermediate.
